Nurturing Students’ Potential and Sustainable Development
With the enrichment of resources, equipment and facilities, there has been an improvement in the banding of student intake in recent years. BWWTC is a high value-added school as we have made great improvement in public examination results, as well as inter-school and international competitions. |
The campus life at our school is vibrant and filled with opportunities for students to explore and develop their talents. To facilitate this, we have introduced the “Dream-Building Programme” and the STEM subjects, as well as arts, music, PE, science, technology, and competence-oriented programmes. Our curriculum is unique to Hong Kong and is designed to meet the developmental needs of our students. We use the concept of a “Spiral Curriculum” to develop ability indicators at different levels and to arrange the learning aims, curriculum content, and assessment criteria accordingly. Our goal is for students to acquire diverse knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes before graduating.
We also provide ample opportunities for students to develop their interests and talents through our “High-Flyers Scheme”. In response to the Education Bureau’s optimization of core subjects at the senior secondary level, we offer a combination of three elective subjects and provide students with the opportunity to take elective subjects in English. Additionally, we offer Enrichment Classes in Chinese, English, and Mathematics to cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. To enhance their language skills, we also offer Reading Classes for Chinese and English subjects. Through these classes, students' critical thinking is developed by comprehending and interpreting reading contents.
We encourage our students to explore their interests and improve their quality of life by reading extensively according to their personal interests and needs. We also nurture an open-minded attitude and respect for different opinions, values, and cultures. Our students are equipped with the knowledge and abilities to explore the meaning of life and overcome challenges.
